Testimonials

"When I watched Beneath the Helmet, it struck me how the strategies of a building a cohesive, successful IDF platoon are like building a professional sports team. Nothing shows the power of teamwork like the wherewithal to defend your country. The lessons of maturity, perseverance, brotherhood, motivation and being a role model are inspiring. These powerful ideas transfer seamlessly from a platoon to a team, from the trenches to the field. Thank you so much for the opportunity to develop new ways of building our team."

"I think it's extremely important that films like Beneath the Helmet get as wide a viewing as it's possible to have. Because these are young men and women who are fighting for their country, who are just like any of the rest of us. They're not born and turn out as soldiers. They're ordinary human beings who have the courage to join the armed forces and fight for their country. And I think it's very important that we understand the way their minds work, we understand how they live. We get an insight into what they do day-to-day, their training, what it consists of. In order that we can get a better picture."

"As someone who works with teens and minorities through StandWithUs, I am always looking for new material that will help educate and inspire people to see Israel for what it is; a true democracy where all are free to enjoy human rights. After viewing Beneath the Helmet, I knew that it was a film that would captivate both young and old as well as Jewish and non-Jewish audiences...I encourage everyone to see it!"

"Here in Israel, every male has to serve three years in the military and every female, two years in the military right after high school. What happens beneath the helmet? A remarkable film has been produced called, Beneath the Helmet, and it takes you from high school to the home front, in the lives of young people who understand what it means to live free, and to pay the price for freedom. This remarkable film will inspire you, encourage you and inform you. I hope you’ll view it."
